Job summary

Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah, Kentucky seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide hands-on, person-centered elder care. You will support daily living activities, mobility, nutrition, and safety alongside our nursing team in a welcoming setting dedicated to dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Kentucky SRNA status or eligibility to work while completing an approved nurse aide training and competency program.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to person-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers with appropriate equipment.
• Obtain and document vital signs and report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs per care plans.
• Observe and communicate changes in condition or well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Document care accurately per facility policies.
• Promote elder dignity, privacy, independence, and personal preferences.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to deliver high-quality care.
