Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and support under licensed supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and help maintain a compassionate, resident-centered environment in our Jamestown facility.

Applicants must hold current CNA certification and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. The position emphasizes high-quality care, patient dignity, and collaboration with nursing staff to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
