Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a 32-hour weekly schedule. The role operates under RN supervision with a focus on daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and safety.

You’ll support dining, mobility, and psychosocial needs in a long-term care setting. The position requires CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing (or in process within four months), a valid driver’s license if

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in LTC preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process within four months; certification provided by facility.
• Annual competency testing with 12 hours CE required; maintains required certifications.
• If applicable, listed as UAP registrant with state authorities.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with valid license and driving duties.

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Support meals, hydration, and basic health needs; document and report changes to charge nurse.
• Participate in infection control, PPE usage, and care plan adherence.
