Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists patients and residents in personal hygiene tasks, assisting with dressing, treatments or other care activities.
• Turns and positions patients, assists in transferring, ambulating and transporting.
• Passes and empties bed pans and urinals and provides proper care for incontinent patients and residents.
• Assists in feeding, setting up meals and adaptive eating equipment, feeding patients and residents, cleaning after eating and the dining area.
• Observes and reports changes in patient’s condition to supervisor.
• Distributes clean linens, makes beds, escorts residents to activities and ensures a clean, safe room.
