Qualifikationen

• GED or HSED or high school diploma required.
• Two years acute care CNA experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills must be demonstrated.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.

Aufgaben

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and turning.
• Record and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other data in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge tasks, room setup, and inventory management.
• Collect specimens and perform point‑of‑care testing per approved processes.
• Transport supplies, charts, and specimens; maintain clean work areas and stocked nursing station.
