Job summary
BrightStar Care of Indianapolis is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care. You will follow personalized care plans, monitor client conditions, and promptly communicate health changes to the care team. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.
Applicants must hold a current unrestricted HHA/CNA license, CPR certification, and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted HHA/CNA license in the state for which care is being provided.
- CPR certification and negative TB test or chest x-ray.
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in home health, primary care clinic, or health facility.
- Exceptional nursing assessment skills.
- Analytical/Critical thinker.
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; may lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful care to clients based on personalized Plans of Care.
- Monitor and track changes in client conditions and inform appropriate personnel.
- Proactively updates client/family on plan of care and health changes.
