Job summary

Brightstar Care (TomCat HC) is seeking a reliable CNA or HHA for 1:1 in-home patient care in Indiana. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and ensure safety under clinical supervision; light housekeeping may be required.

This full-time or part-time, in-person role is based in Monticello, IN 47960. Pay is $15.00–$18.00 per hour with benefits including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA with 1:1 patient care experience.
• Ability to monitor health and assist with daily living activities.
• Strong communication with clients, family and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers; support walking and positioning.
• Remind and monitor medications; report concerns to nurse.
• Observe health changes and vital signs; document findings.
• Light housekeeping, meal prep, and safety checks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Ensure a safe home environment and proper use of medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate care records and incidents.
• Coordinate care with clients, families and professionals.
