Job summary

CASWELL DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER in North Carolina seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Care Technician I to provide direct care to developmentally disabled adults in the Facility Infirmary and Medical Unit. This role involves lifting and working two shifts, with training through Staff Development including NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with NC Health Care Personnel Registry.
• Completion of Staff Development training including NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting.
• Position requires frequent lifting and bending.
• Minimum education and experience as listed in vacancy announcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adults with developmental and physical disabilities.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with treatments such as Foley catheter, tracheostomy, and G-tube care.
• Assist with medications and personal care in a home-like setting.
• Work within the Nursing Department in the Facility Infirmary and Medical Unit.
