Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide patient care support in a long‑term care setting. You will assist residents with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety under the direction of the Charge Nurse, documenting accurately in patient records.

You will take vital signs, monitor intake and output, and assist with admissions, resident orientation, and daily rounds. Apply proper lifting techniques and use assistive devices as needed, while maintaining

Qualifications

• CNA certificate required; CPR preferred or must obtain within six months.
• Excellent communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Ability to manage time and complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Physical ability to assist patients and transfer/position them safely.
• Accurate documentation in patient records and coordination with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and weights; document accurately.
• Support resident orientation and ensure proper identification and admission procedures.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs; complete rounds as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, use proper lifting techniques and safety equipment as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; communicate needs to Charge Nurse.
