Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care and partner with the care team to deliver high-quality service. This role requires strong attendance, multitasking, and a compassionate, professional demeanor.

You will assist with grooming, bathing, mobility, recording vitals, and ensuring a safe, clean environment while upholding patient rights and safety policies. Full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
• Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
• Follows all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
