The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to patient rights, and safety policies while supporting mobility and daily activities for elderly and disabled residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Accurately record vitals, intake/output, and meals.
• Demonstrates compassionate patient care and patience.
• Follows safety policies and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing.
• Maintain resident environment by changing linens and stocking supplies.
• Safely assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption accurately.
• Turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
