Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bessemer, Alabama is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent resident care, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, assisting with daily activities.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support nutritional needs with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including bed-making and linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care accurately in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities, and team members.
• Respond promptly to call lights and urgent needs.
