Qualifications

• Active Alabama CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, assisting with daily activities.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support nutritional needs with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including bed-making and linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care accurately in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities, and team members.
• Respond promptly to call lights and urgent needs.

Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)to join our growing team in Bessemer, Alabama. In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CNA Requirements

• Active CNA Certification in Alabama
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred

CNA Responsibilities
