Job summary
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in our skilled nursing community. You will support residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities include delivering care per ISP, assisting with ADLs, reporting vital signs, collaborating with licensed nurses on care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification per state regulations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting
- Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition
- Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs
- Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times
