Qualifications

• Must have a current license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during training.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to relate to residents, families and staff with tact.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours to provide quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct delivery.
• Make beds and maintain cleanliness of bedside areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse or Administrator.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and document appropriately.
