Job summary

Samaritan Keep Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential care to residents on a full-time evening shift. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with personal care, and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• One year or more experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Eligible for NYS Department of Health Certification as a Long Term Care Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks to care for residents.
• Maintain a resident’s room with bed making and tidying.
• Document basic resident observations and type of care given.
• Assist ambulatory residents and with activities.
