Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license and completion of a nursing assistant training course.
• Certifications: BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
