Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, ensuring the highest quality resident care at all times.

Qualified candidates must hold a CNA license and have a minimum of six months experience as a CNA or clinical CNA experience; strong English communication and compassionate interaction with residents, families and staff are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CNA license.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and periodically to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands and other safety concerns.
• Maintain clean bedsides and assist with transfers and daily activities.
