Job summary

Essentia Living Center in Fosston, Minnesota, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care in a long-term care setting. The role is 0.8 FTE, about 12 hours weekly on the 6:00 am–2:30 pm shift, with every-other weekend and holiday rotation.

You will assist with personal hygiene, nutrition needs, monitor resident changes, maintain safety, and report to the shift nurse. Generous weekend differentials and comprehensive benefits are available for those working 24+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program.
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
• Must maintain safety, report changes to shift nurse and keep residents safe.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with personal hygiene.
• Assist with nutritional needs and monitor changes in resident condition.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Report changes to the shift nurse promptly and maintain a clean, safe environment.
