Job summary

Sun Health Corporation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care at La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ. The role supports nursing staff in feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and linen changes, with duties rotating across AM, PM, and Night shifts.

Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification required.
AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Check assignment and schedule at start of shift; note events and extra duties.
Perform direct patient care tasks such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with mobility.
Respond to call lights and take vital signs as indicated.
Assist with meals and chart required information.
Attend required staff In-Service trainings and participate in admissions/transfers/discharges as needed.
Maintain aseptic technique and monitor residents for changes; communicate with Charge Nurse.
Assist in PM shift with activities, pre-meal preparation, feeding, bathing, and daily care.
In Night Shift, check residents every 2 hours, assist toileting and positioning as needed.
