Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Fowler, CA. We’re a newly acquired, family-owned facility with an experienced Administrator and Director of Nursing, offering supportive leadership and a warm, resident-centered environment.

New graduates are encouraged to apply, and ALL SHIFTS are available. As a CNA you will provide routine nursing care under supervision, perform rounds, verify resident identities, and maintain safety and comfort for our 49-bed

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a CNA program or licensed CNA.
• Desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patient, tactful, cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and available.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
