Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for assisted living shifts in Blue Island, IL. The role covers 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am on a part-time basis.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with responsibilities including vital signs, daily living activities, and resident support. Responsibilities include documenting assessments, assisting with medication reminders, providing skin care, and ensuring resident rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Area of Study: Clinical/Nursing
• Years of Experience: 1+ years
• Type of Experience: Clinical/Nursing
• Special Certifications: CNA licensure depending on state requirements and regulations
• Language Skills: English proficiency to perform duties and respond to emergencies
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
• Skills and Ability: Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services and activities of daily living.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care.
• Contribute to resident assessments and care plans.
• Provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Respect and protect resident rights and confidentiality.
