The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan in De Smet, SD delivers resident-centered care under RN supervision. You assist with daily living activities, provide comfort, monitor vital signs, and support mobility, meals, and hygiene in a long-term care setting.

The role offers a flexible schedule with varied shifts, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package for qualifying staff. Prior CNA experience and a valid CNA certification are preferred, with required certification

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior CNA experience preferred.
• CNA certification required within four months of hire, through facility program or Endorsement.

Mansioni

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document resident interactions, vital signs, and care outcomes as required.
• Assist with meals, dining, and nutrition support; ensure positive dining experience.
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE use; maintain infection control.
