Saba Health Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. You will assist with resident care, provide companionship, and maintain accurate records in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in Illinois.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and restorative nursing procedures
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Perform vital signs and document results in the EMR
• Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy
• Answer call lights promptly and report any changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse
• Assist with resident transfers and readmissions
• Complete assignment reports and maintain accurate records
• Detect and report situations that have a high probability of causing accidents or injuries to residents and/or staff
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions practices
