Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in resident care in Desoto, MO. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care for elderly residents in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meals, documentation, and reporting changes in resident condition. Prior CNA experience and CPR/BLS are preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Aide in good standing or graduate of a state-approved CNA training program and passed the competency exam within 120 days.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinate dining room services at meals and document intake.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake.
• Weigh residents and report changes to nurses or supervisors.
• Monitor skin condition and report issues to nurses or supervisors.
• Assist with toileting program activities.
• Maintain flow sheets and communicate progress to supervisors.
