Job summary
Right at Home Iowa City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Iowa City area. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meal preparation and light housekeeping, while maintaining dignity and independence for clients.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six months CNA experience in health care (homes or facilities) and completion of a State approved CNA course.
- Must have CPR certification (recommended).
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
- Ambulation and mobility assistance.
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Measure vital signs and observe patient status.
- Assist with ostomy care, dressings, and daily living devices as instructed by a nurse.
- Support with prescribed range of motion exercises and self-administered tests as directed.
