Job summary

CareBuilders at Home of Solon is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care, support daily living activities, and ensure safety and comfort in the client's familiar home environment.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities for ongoing training in a supportive team setting, with potential for up to 36 hours per week based on client needs and availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of professional caregiving or related experience.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently in clients' homes.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with client mobility and light tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• TB test within the past 12 months or TB screening as part of pre-employment process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.
• Assist with shopping, appointments, and other errands.
• Monitor client conditions and communicate changes to family and care team.
