Job summary

Independence Village of Avon is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, individual care for residents in our Avon community.

The CNA will perform daily care tasks, review care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility, while maintaining residents' dignity and safety. A valid CNA license and prior elder care experience are preferred; diverse shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Previous experience as a nursing aide preferred.
• Must be a licensed, Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Leads and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at start of shift.
• Bathe and clean residents as needed (bed bath, shower).
• Assist in dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Make beds, change linens, and keep rooms neat and safe.
