Job summary

Aviara Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and support residents' daily lives with kindness and dignity. Full-time positions are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, support physicians and nurses, and help maintain a clean, safe care environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Must be actively state certified as a CNA.
• Prior CNA experience is a plus.
• Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in daily living activities and provide comfort (e.g. feeding, bathing, toileting).
• Assist physicians and nurses in medical procedures.
• Record patient health information (blood pressure, temperature etc.) and vital signs.
• Transfer patients to and from rooms, beds, wheelchairs or gurneys.
• Maintain the cleanliness of patient care environment (e.g. beds, bathrooms).
• Prepare equipment and instruments for inspection and sterilization.
• Provide first aid services including wound care.
