Century Park Associates in Hendersonville, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (STNA) to deliver daily living assistance and compassionate care to residents. You will support activities of daily living, monitor health needs, and work with an interdisciplinary team ensuring resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Must be currently certified/registered in applicable state. Maintain active certification.
• One year experience in senior services preferred.
• CPR certification required at hire or during Orientation.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm for resident care.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing aide practices and related laws/regulations.
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality; comply with training.
• Uphold Century Parks’ Code of Ethics and required compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as per care plan.
• Read 24-hour log at start of shift.
• Perform routine rounds and verify care needs.
• Assist with clothing and weather-appropriate attire.
• Support residents with meals; monitor intake.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Remind on daily hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with hair care and weekly shampoo.
• Make beds and prepare residents for activities/appointments.
• Deliver meals and assist with setup or feeding as needed.
• Document changes in resident conditions and report to Nurse/Director.
• Welcome new residents and assist with move-in adjustments.
• Assist with unpacking, storing, labeling, inventorying belongings.
• Comply with infection control guidelines.
