Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and daily living support to residents in our senior community. The CNA assists with hygiene, mobility, meals, and medication reminders under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, ensuring safety during transfers, maintaining a clean environment, documenting progress notes, and promoting resident engagement while adhering to infection control

Formación

• Active CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Compassionate, professional, and able to handle emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and assist with resident mobility.
• Comfort using basic technology for documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs; report changes in condition to supervising nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
• Support safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Prepare and submit progress notes in a timely manner.
• Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and community policies.
• Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.
