Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Home Health Aide to support residents in our senior living community. You will provide personal care, help with daily living activities, and document progress in ISP-guided plans.

Under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator, you will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, while maintaining a safe, respectful environment and participating in trainings.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• CPR certification within 90 days.
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and assist with resident mobility.
• Comfort using basic technology for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs; report changes to supervising nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
• Support safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Prepare and submit progress notes in a timely manner.
• Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and community policies.
• Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.
