Job summary

Ambercare in New Mexico is hiring part-time Home Care Aides to deliver compassionate in-home care for seniors and people with disabilities. As an Ambercare Certified Nurse Aide, you will support clients at their homes, help with daily activities, medication reminders, therapy exercises, and companionship, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Walk-ins are welcome at any branch, and the role offers flexible hours, daily pay for select positions, and opportunities to grow in a growing home care

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist clients with therapy exercises under supervision.
• Assist with personal care: hair, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment with light housekeeping.
