Job summary

Ambercare seeks an entry-level Certified Nursing Assistant to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes across New Mexico. You will perform personal care tasks, remind clients about medications, assist with mobility, and provide companionship on a flexible part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training and minimum 1 year experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory background check.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist with therapy exercises under direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist with personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and engagement activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
