Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, supportive environment in a care setting. Responsibilities include helping with hygiene, meals, mobility, and medications per policy, while following infection control procedures and responding to emergencies promptly.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CNA certification in this state; CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are preferred and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Reviews resident Service Plans to gain familiarity with needs and preferences.
• Provides personal services to residents as assigned and indicated on Service Plans.
• Helps residents with medications and/or treatments as indicated by regulation.
• Responds to calls from the emergency call system promptly.
• Demonstrates infection control procedures.
• Assists with meals, setting up tables, serving, and cleaning dining area.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment through housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Participates in social/recreational activities and encourages resident participation.
• Monitors changes in resident needs or health status and reports as required.
• Responds to emergencies per training and reports abuse as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
