Job summary

Hayesville House in Hayesville, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and support the nursing team. This role requires compassionate, patient care and strong communication to ensure residents’ well-being.

You will monitor health conditions, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment in compliance with regulations and care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Foster meaningful relationships and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
