Job summary

Haywood Springs is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents in our Canton, NC community. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and support the nursing team to promote residents' health and dignity.

The ideal candidate will have a state-approved CNA program, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for caregiving. CPR/First Aid preferred; background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs; observe changes and report to nursing staff.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities to promote well-being.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures.
