Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Hamlet House provides direct care to residents, assists with daily living activities, and supports the nursing team to maintain residents' health and well-being. This role requires compassion, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.

You will monitor health conditions, assist with mobility, meals, and hydration, and follow safety and infection control procedures in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Provide meal assistance, hydration support and ensure safe, comfortable living.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures.
