Job summary

Kings Healthcare & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision to ensure the highest quality resident care. This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and compassionate support in daily activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, personal care, and mobility, performing rounds, reporting changes promptly, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• License as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience in a CNA program.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and empathy; ability to handle residents at various maturity levels.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly and upset residents.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals and report missing ID bands promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside tables clean.
• Serve and manage water for residents and ensure accessibility.
• Assist with dressing, meals, and feeding as needed.
• Assist with therapy, activities, physician visits and transportation as required.
• Keep residents clean, dry and comfortable; manage linens and clothing as needed.
• Attend in-service programs and perform duties as directed by supervisors.
