Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the patient care team. The role involves providing direct patient care under RN supervision, performing routine clerical tasks, and ensuring efficient department operations.

The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, data collection, specimen handling, and communication of patient status. A VA CNA license and BLS CPR are required, with CPI training within 90 days for Snowden at Fredericksburg.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI is required within 90 days of hire for Snowden at Fredericksburg.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients in daily living activities including ROM, ambulation, positioning, hygiene, and feeding.
• Collects patient data and specimens, records vitals, and reports changes to licensed staff.
• Transports patients, prepares for tests, and assists with admissions/discharges.
