Responsibilities

• Provides for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of nurse
• Uses proper infection prevention techniques
• Performs and records delegated nursing care procedures
• Observes patients and reports changes to nursing staff
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility
• Transfers/ transports medications as needed
• Distributes meals and nourishments; helps feeding as needed
• Responds to call lights promptly
