Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team. Under the supervision of the RN, you will provide high-quality basic care, assist with activities of daily living, and support patient comfort and safety.

This full-time position covers day shift (12-hour) with 0.9 FTE, requiring BLS, CA CNA license, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural hospital.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course preferred.
• California CNA license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ARC required within 30 days of hire.
• Los Angeles Fire & Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality basic care activities under RN direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient safety.
• Observe and report issues to LVN or RN.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients and families in a respectful manner.
• Follow hospital standards and emergency procedures.
