Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Amarillo, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, ensure comfort, and provide high-quality care in alignment with facility policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals and personal care, documenting intake, observing health changes, and supporting nursing staff while upholding confidentiality and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification.
• Excellent communication skills with residents and families.
• Team-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of patient care standards.
• Physically capable of assisting residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (meals, turning, ambulating, hydration).
• Help residents with personal hygiene.
• Observe and report changes in resident health to supervising nurse.
• Document food and fluid intake accurately.
• Assist with feeding and provide nutritional supplements.
• Keep living environments clean and beds made.
• Transport residents safely within the facility.
• Support nursing staff and follow facility policies.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and local standards.
