Senior Living Residences (SLR) is hiring Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to our senior residents at Ridgefield Station. Join a caring team recognized as a top place to work, with a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance).
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Responsibilities

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents.
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system.
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed.
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
