Job summary

Frontida Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a 1st Shift Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, supervision, housekeeping, and meals while promoting the facility’s culture and values.

The role requires compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include medication monitoring, incident documentation, and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete the probationary period successfully.
• Must be able to be flexible and work alone if necessary.
• Desired: High School Diploma or equivalent; CBRF Training completed.
• Must actively demonstrate Frontida’s culture and exhibit extraordinary care toward Frontida’s residents.

Responsibilities

• Represent Frontida with professionalism and embrace its culture.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, eating).
• Assist in maintenance of daily living activities (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Aid semi-ambulatory residents with transfers and personal care; may require lifting and gait-belt use.
• Cook meals and provide snacks following the menu plan.
• Communicate facility needs to Executive Director/House Manager.
• Monitor and chart administration of residents’ medications as applicable.
• Document accidents and incidents and report concerns to Executive Director/Designee.
• Provide comfort and companionship, treating residents with dignity and respect.
• Follow emergency procedures and call 911 if distress occurs.
• Work scheduled shifts and attend monthly trainings as requested.
