Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire date.
• Active Texas CNA license or Patient Care Tech Certification required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and activities of daily living.
• Record vital signs and intake/output; notify RN of changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and assist with transport.
• Support nursing staff and participate in CQI activities.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
