The ideal candidate holds a Texas CNA license, records vitals accurately, follows safety policies, and demonstrates patience and empathy for elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
• Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures
• Communicates well and demonstrates self‑discipline and patience
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
• Follows all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, pericare, and dressing following care policy.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
