Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester is seeking a certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care under RN/LPN supervision. You will maintain a safe environment, report issues promptly and support the mission of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.

New hires must hold CNA credentials and BLS. Interaction with patients spans all ages and you may mentor new CNAs as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide registered with Virginia and/or West Virginia boards.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required before orientation.
• Must understand basic principles of patient care and age-appropriate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine personal care duties for patients.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports problems.
• May act as preceptor in orientation of new CNAs.
