Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants in California to provide direct daily care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services, under nurse supervision.

The ideal candidate completes a state-approved Nursing Assistant program, is listed on the state registry, and is ready to join a faith-based team delivering compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents daily under supervision.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and assist with linen changes.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs; may be cross trained in Assisted Living.
