Job summary

Adira Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Afternoon Shift 2p-10p to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will provide direct patient care, including assistance with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document data, and collaborate with nursing staff to support residents' well-being while maintaining a safe environment.

This role requires Michigan CNA certification and a high school diploma, plus the ability to lift and reposition residents safely

Qualifications

• Current Michigan CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Record patient data and vital signs accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and infection control.
• Report changes to nursing staff and participate in handovers.
• Support rehabilitation and restorative care programs.
